Tuesday 19th August

Well to pick up from Sunday evening/ we apologise again for the Internet is crazy, and we are trying to mail you lots. But going up and down lots of steps in sizzling (high 30's) takes it's toll!
Sunday evening was church service at 4 square church pentecostal, we thing we will have diamonds in our crowns in heaven as that was our 4Th services of the day. The worship was incredible again a joint UK Albania adventure and Carl spoke on making sure that Christ was at the centre of your heart in everything you do. Really good night. I think we ate pizza well it's a good guess as we have eaten pizza most nights. Excellent it is too, enormous and only 3 pounds.

Monday-
Steve and Matt arrived at about 9.00, Matt announcing his arrival by smashing a glass. The noise level has risen considerably. We would value your prayers for health for the whole team as Matt is not well, nor is Sarah, Laura, Ali and Katie.
We started off with Kidz Club 10-12 and about 35 turned up which is verging on the rooms capacity. Crazy mix of games, story, worship and crafts which worked really well. Our Albania translators are being fantastic and are turning up on all the occasions we have needed them- a real answer to prayer. Rach and Katie taught on the lost sheep- Jackie, Katie and Chloe were great sheep! The room was suffocatingly hot and the aroma was non too sweet. The kids seemed to love it and we had to chase them out.
Our stable lunch diet evolves around Feta, Tomatoes more feta and to top it off Chocolate spread. In fact the chocolate spread seems to feature in most meals. We should take out shares or arrange sponsorship.
After lunch it was the compulsory S4C, temperatures continue to sizzle. We do enjoy it when horizontal on the beach or in the sea, but working in these temperatures is some challenge, and some of the ill health related to the heat. Matt reported 2 tsunamis on the beach, most people would call them waves.
Ali and Rachel went off to Cuka with Vera who teaches there. They came back inspired by her devotion to the children in hoping to improve their lives as they learn to read and write. We feel there is a lot we can do in helping to resource this work. The children love parachute games.
Much as we love our time in Cuka, on arrival back there is a fight for the showers, and the clothes in the washing machine, as heads are alive and your never to sure what you are treading in.
More pizza.............. moonlight walks on the rocks.

Tuesday-

Today Kidz club again, maintained the same numbers which was exciting. Please pray we communicate the reality of relationship with Jesus that we are sharing something more than stories. Matt and Steve have slotted into the team very well and everyone seems improving health wise but please keep praying for protection.
Feta, Tomato, Feta, Chocolate spread.............
More S4C, not a cloud in the sky but the wind has picked up and the sea is rough. Jackie and Carl have the bruises to show from the bashing on the rocks.
Cuka- Ruth and Jackie went with Vera played interesting ball games and parachute games dodging cowpats and a horse. Sadly the midges were out in force and continue to find Ruth and Jakie very tasty. Jackie is in the lead for bites but Steve is a close second now as he was bitten to death in Corfu before arriving here. In fact his back looked like one big spot!!
That brings us to sitting here in the smokey Internet cafe but at least there is air con yeah!!!!!!!
Just off out you guessed it................
We have only had 2 posts we would love to hear from you, please write to us. apologise for any errros we are too weary to read it through!!

Hi guys. I think we were posting at exactly the same time last time, so you missed comment no. 3 on your last blog. Read it and be encouraged. Also Jan Wilson said she's "praying hard" for you all. Blessings.
