Hey everyone, thanks for all your prayers and support, we really appreciate it! Everyone is now fit and healthy which is great. So what have we been up to?...

Thursday afternoon - after our S4C dosage, Jackie and Katy headed off for Cuke to join in with the school and to play some games. Chloe, Steve, Matt and Rachel donned their painting clothes and headed off to the Greek Evangelical Church's new building to paint some rooms. Some seemed to get a fair amount of paint on themselves as well as on the wall! Sarah, Ruth and Ali were at the prayer meeting at the church down the road. It was really encouraging to be able to spend time praying with the members of this church. Also Anna and Sion arrived safely- a day earlier than expected which was great. It was lovely to see them and have the team complete!

Matt and Ali have naughtily established the SS society (a.k.a Secret Suflacce Society) - in other words they were too hungry to wait for dinner and sneaked out to the local Sufflace place before going out (-and just for the record it wasn't for pizza!).

Today - Katy and Rachel had an early morning trip to Cuke at 8.30, extra Pharisee points for them! Meanwhile, the rest of the team had a great time at Kid's Club. Sarah and Laura used the Rainbow fish story to teach the children about the importance of sharing and loving God and one another. The face paints made a appearance much to the children's delight.

Some of the lads went to visit Kiko (the drummer from church) this afternoon to take him some clothes and meet his family. They really enjoyed their visit and have been invited back to sample some homemade raki!

Thanks for all your posts- it's really great to hear from you.
Ali's Mum- we'll ask about the teddy!

That's all folks. It's now time for S4C which again has been expanded to Snoozing for Christ, preferably whilst Sunbathing for Christ!

Hi all,
We're back from the wilds of the Yorkshire Dales where we had no internet and only very occasional mobile phone access(our thanks to Caryn for the 'update on Albania' text messages which we managed to pick up on occasions) We have, however, had thousands of sheep and rabbits to entertain us - baa-ad.
Now we're in Lincolnshire and the weather continues to be cold and wet - typical British Summer - no S4C here! On a brighter note, our son has brought his laptop with him so now we've re-connected with the outside world!
Excited to read in detail all that you guys have been up to - even your travel on the ferry avoiding the queues! You seem to have achieved a lot in a short space of time.
When I was praying the other day I had a sense that God is pleased with your obedience in serving Him in Albania and that you need not worry about how the message is being received because even though you wont always see the evidence, He will do the work in peoples' hearts. You are just there to serve His purposes. You are doing a fantastic job!
Hey - something amazing - a bright yellowish circle shape has appeared in the sky, momentarily, together with a small amount of blue sky -I'm off to S4C!!!!
God bless you all
